Winter Activities

In the winter Our Beautiful Blue (sic) Lake Minnetonka becomes a vast featureless field of white. Tracks soon begin to emerge, first small ones, quickly followed by larger, then shoes, skates, skis and sleds. Roads begin to criss-cross formerly impassable routes and shanties begin to assemble over unseen, but not forgotten trees, ridges, sink holes, and hopefully fish. What are you going to do this winter? What is going to keep you from going insane with cold, isolation, and a severe lack of vitamin D? I am not a doctor, nor have I seen one since I was kicked off my parents medical insurance, but here is a list of activities that will help you shake off those Doldrums and realize that life on Lake Minnetonka doesn’t just run June, July, and August.
